A fundamental asset in achieving accurate and complete Latino representation is being familiar with fact-based data surrounding the contributions Latinos make to the United States. The Latino Data Collaborative is a leader in researching the many contributions of Latinos in the United States.  The reports are available to download for FREE.  

Latinos have an enormously positive impact on the United States economy. In fact, the collective economic activity of Latino Americans on its own would comprise the fifth largest economy globally. Here is an LDC report of the Latino contribution to the American economy in 2022.

In order to change the narrative surrounding Latinos, it is essential that Latinos are represented thoroughly and accurately in entertainment media. The LDC has compiled information on what proportion of 2022 American shows feature or are produced by Latinos.

Latinos are overwhelmingly entrepreneurial, and part of unleashing that entrepreneurial spirit is guaranteeing access to capital. The LDC partnered with Bain to produce a report on what Latino businesses produce nationally and what they could produce with the proper investment.

 

 

The LYI is hugely focused on combating negative views of Latinos in the United States across the board. This 2021 LDC report details the progress that has been made, and that which is left to do.

The United States is a global player in the overall market for technological advancement, and Latino Americans have had a large, often unsung role in the nation’s workforce of developing tech. This report compiles the presence of Latinos in American technology production.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people were fortunate enough to work from home. However, there were essential jobs that needed to be conducted in person, and many of those workers were Latinos. This report details the efforts made by Latinos during those years.
